Earth Awakening is the sequel to Silverfall, and continues the everlasting combat between humans, goblins, elves and trolls. With you as the ruler of the mythical land of Nelwe, Earth Awakening can be started as a brand new player or continued on from Silverfall.
Several significant changes have been made to the sequel, and fans of the first game will be impressed. As before, you can choose your character and make small changes to your appearance. There are over 150 skills and magic spells that you can learn during the game, so it will take time and determination to build your character up. The game includes eight ultimate skills and twelve unique high level skills which can be attained through experience.
One of the main changes in Earth Awakening is the manner of death. Previously, your character would be returned to the nearest village after dying without any armour or weapons. You would then have to find your body; fighting your way through to reach it. This proved to be very frustrating to gamers, and they will be pleased with the new form of dying. In the easier levels, you will be transported back to the town with all of your supplies intact, and it is only in the harder levels that you will have to return to find your body.
The interface has also been changed from the original Silverfall, and several pop-up menus are handy to check the inventory, any maps and skill levels. Two gauges are present to monitor your life and power, and can be easily added on to with potions. The new Earth Awakening sequel should please fans of Silverfall, and the new changes have made the game so much better.
